Bank Albilad's effective participation as a principal sponsor in the Riyadh Euromoney Conference 2008 held in the Al-Faisaliyah Hotel, Riyadh during the period May 6 – 7, 2008 was successful by all scales. The Bank's exhibition attracted a large number of the main visitors of the event, and the Bank hosted the Second workshop which addressed the "Islamic Banking Challenges". The Sharia Board Secretariat Department Mr. Hamed Merah shall present a lecture titled: "Sukuk: their Nature, Developments and Future Challenges".

Commenting on the occasion, PR and Media Manager Fahad Al-Arifi said: "the Euromoney Conference is an important event that touches on the Saudi financial and economic sector in view of the local and global contributions. Al-Arifi pointed out that the valuable lecture presented by The Sharia Board Secretariat Department Mr. Hamed Merah under the title: "Sukuk: their Nature, Developments and Future Challenges" was among the main subjects that were met with appreciation by the visitors. The lecture exploited many important matters that involve the Sukuk such as: development of the Islamic Sukuk, nature of the Sukuk, features of the Sukuk, and the future challenges.
