Making payments with the Apple Pay app is safer, as your private information is kept protected. Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and a unique transaction code. Your card number is not stored on your device or Apple servers when you make payment. It cannot be shared with merchants either, which keeps it from being traced back to your account.

Apple Pay setup - how to add your Bank Albilad card?


To add your Bank Albilad card to Apple Pay, follow these steps: 

Apple Pay for iPhone


  • Open the Wallet app on your device 
  • Tap the “+” sign at the upper-right corner
  • Enter the security code of your debit or credit card affiliated with your iTunes account
  • If you want to add another card, select “Add a Different Card”. Next, use your iPhone’s camera for scanning the card information 

Apple Pay for Apple Watch


  • Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone 
  • Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”
  • Enter the security code of your debit or credit card that is affiliated with your iTunes account
  • If you want to add another card, select “Add a Different Card”. Next, use your iPhone’s camera for scanning the card information 

Apple Pay for iPad


  • Go to Settings
  • Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”
  • Enter the security code of your debit or credit card that is affiliated with your iTunes account
  • If you want to add another card, select “Add a Different Card”. Next, use your iPad’s camera for scanning the card information

How to make payments with the Apple Pay app?


Making payments through the Apple Pay app is swift and secure. Here’s a brief guide on Apple Pay use in stores, apps, and websites. 

Using Apple Pay in stores

 

  • To pay via iPhone in physical stores using your Apple Pay app, you can use the Face ID or the Touch ID. 
  • To pay with Face ID, double-click the side button, glance at your screen, then hold iPhone near the reader.
  • For Touch ID, hold your iPhone near the reader with your finger on the Touch ID. 
  • On Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold Apple Watch up to the reader.

Using Apple Pay for paying for app purchases and website purchases:


To pay in apps or on the web, on your iPhone/iPad, select Apple Pay at checkout. Complete the payment using Face ID or Touch ID.
