Bank Albilad announced achieving profits of 270 million riyals at the end of the first quarter of 2020, and the total operating income during the first quarter increased by about 9% to reach 1,004 million riyals compared to the previous year.

The bank’s total assets also increased by 21% to reach 88,498 million Saudi riyals. Also, investments grew to reach 11,924 million Saudi riyals, an increase of 43%, and the net financing amounted to 62,579 million Saudi riyals, an increase of 22%. In addition, customer deposits grew to reach 68,377 million Saudi riyals, an increase of 19%, and equity grew to reach 9,540 million Saudi riyals, an increase of 15% compared to the first quarter of the previous year.

 

Commenting on the Bank's results, the Chairman of Bank Albilad Dr. Abdulrhman Ibrahim Al Humaid, thanked the Bank customers for their confidence, noting: "These positive financial results were, however, only possible due to the help, blessing and kindness of the almighty God and close linkage that exists between the Bank and its customers and shareholders, and then the efforts of the male and female ambassadors of the Bank.”

This in addition to supporting the Community Fund of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development with an amount of 3.5 million riyals, in order to enhance public health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in recognition of the importance of standing and uniting in the face of this pandemic and mitigating its effects on society and overcoming it.
