Bank Albilad and SMSA Company has launched the first activity of banking agency in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Al Munsiyah district of Riyadh city. Bank Albilad, through its banking agent SMSA, will provide personal and corporate banking services including opening accounts, and providing financing products, cards, and remittances as well as other banking services through the service centers of SMSA Express Transportation Company. Exerting such efforts, Bank Albilad aims at enhancing its banking role through being present in various regions of the Kingdom to help achieve the vision and objectives of the Saudi Central Bank which are in line with the objectives of the Financial Sector Development Program. Being one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs, this program is related to the inclusion of the sector of financial services aiming at expanding banking services and products and enhancing the financial inclusion of community members. The inauguration procedures were attended by Mr. Bandar Al-Hamqi, Head of Business Development and Network Expansion at Bank Al-Bilad, and Mr. Khaled Al-Yassin, Director of Strategic Projects at SMSA.
Commenting on the inauguration, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al-Onaizan, the CEO of Bank Albilad, said, “We are pleased at Bank Albilad to officially launch the first activity of banking agency with SMSA Express Transportation Company, to provide our banking services through SMSA centers located in all regions of the Kingdom. Bank Albilad will provide several personal, corporate and institutional services offering distinctive and competitive options, that put us very close and accessible to our clients all over the Kingdom. Al-Onaizan explained that Bank Albilad will gradually expand the provision of its services through SMSA branches, and will announce the launch of the banking agency in cooperation with many strategic partners. Our clients will enjoy an integrated digital experience and customer service that lives up to their aspirations. Al-Onaizan also stated that the inauguration of the banking agency will support achieving the vision and objectives of the Saudi Central Bank aiming at expanding banking services and products and enhancing the financial inclusion of the various segments of the community.
